Interview: Samit Patel previews Vitality Blast

T20 captain, Samit Patel, looks ahead to the upcoming Vitality Blast and can’t wait to play in front of big crowds at The County Ground this summer. 

Patel, who sits in the top ten for appearances, runs scored and wickets taken in the Vitality Blast, and has won it twice, will lead the Falcons in 2024, having joined the Club over the winter.

In an exclusive interview, Patel outlines what supporters can expect from his Falcons side and how important the home crowd will be in creating a winning atmosphere at The County Ground and Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.

The Vitality Blast returns to Derbyshire next month, with all but one Falcons’ home fixture taking place on a Friday night or weekend, and you can save by booking tickets in advance! Discounts are also available for groups of five adults or more, with details below.
