Gates open 2 hours before the scheduled start of play and we ask all supporters not to arrive before this time.

Accessible Car Parking: Accessible Car Parking spaces are available in the Pavilion car park and in the adjacent run-through car park close to the main entrance. We encourage all spectators wishing to use an Accessible Car Park bay to pre-purchase their tickets. Accessible Car Park tickets can be pre-purchased until 5pm the day before the matchday by calling 01332 388 101 during our opening hours (Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm), or by emailing [email protected] to request a call-back.

Arriving by Bus: Derbyshire County Cricket Club is well-connected by a number of bus routes, with a bus stop located just a minute’s walk from the main entrance. Click HERE to plan your route.
Arriving by Train: Derby is on the East Midlands Trains main line with direct trains from London St. Pancras via Leicester from the South, and Sheffield and Chesterfield from the North. Click HERE to plan your journey.
Ground Access by Foot/Public Transport: Pedestrians who walk to the venue or arrive by public transport can enter via the main Pavilion entrance.
Ticket Scanning: Once parked, or at the venue entrance on foot, all supporters will be required to pass through a scanning checkpoint, as directed by signage and on-site stewards. This will be via the main Pavilion entrance. Those who park in the Car Park off Sir Frank Whittle Way will be able to pass through the ticket scanning point on that side of the ground.
You must present your match ticket to be scanned (club-issued printed ticket, printed e-ticket, or e-ticket displayed on a smartphone).
Spectator Seating: The ground map above shows spectator seating areas, highlighted in light blue.
Reserved Seating: The only area of reserved/allocated seating is the Family Stand.
Disabled Access: Priority seating for supporters with accessibility needs will be available on the front row of the main Falcons Stand and to the back of the Grandstand in designated Accessible Viewing Bays. The use of these bays for this fixture will be on a first-come, first-served and unreserved basis. If any supporter requires assistance with any seating arrangements, please contact your nearest steward. Accessible toilets are located behind the Seat Unique Falcons Stand, in the Pavilion, to the back of the WDS Business & Media Centre and the Ryley Wealth Elite Performance Centre (see Ground Map above).
Own Chairs: Supporters can bring their own chairs to sit on the grassed or concrete areas, however walkways must be kept clear at all times and stewards may direct supporters to move should they be blocking access.
Dogs: Supporters are not permitted to bring dogs to Vitality Blast fixtures.
The Family Zone is located between the Ryley Wealth Grandstand and the WDS Business & Media Centre (see Ground Map above) and is a reserved seating zone for spectators who have pre-purchased a reserved seat in this family zone.
Behind the seating area there will be a two skills challenges, with competitions run by the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation. Test your bowling and throwing skills with the speed cage, before totting up your high score with the batting target test!
Or bring your own Kwik Cricket or soft ball equipment and take to the grass bank behind the Family Zone – the perfect area for mini games of cricket.
Giveaways: From Scatterblasts – your chance to catch a free Vitality Blast T-Shirt during the game – to 4/6 cards, autograph sheets and more, there are plenty of exciting giveaways at The County Ground this summer.
Player Signing Session: Collect autographs from your favourite Derbyshire players at the end of the match. Simply grab yourself a free Autograph Sheet from the giveaway bins around the ground and head towards the Club Shop & Player Dugouts to be led out onto the pitch at the end of the game.
2024 and Life Members will be able to use the exclusive Members Lounge as an indoor/balcony viewing area, while bar facilities and a limited catering offer will be available. Please have your Membership Card ready to present to the steward upon entry. There will be no hot food for sale in the Members Lounge, however, Members can purchase hot food from the wide variety of stalls around the ground and take it into the Lounge.
Please note, the Members Lounge, as with seating around the ground, is unreserved and we kindly ask Members to not leave items unattended on seats/benches.
Executive Members will have exclusive use of the Executive Lounge, while the pre-order system for hot food will continue to be in operation. Executive Members have been sent an email with details of how to do this. For any issues linked to pre-ordering, please email [email protected].
Across our home T20 matchdays this summer you’ll be able to enjoy a range of delicious hot food, including Woodfired Pizza, Greek Taverna, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Cheese Toasties, award-winning pastries and Project D Doughnuts.
All outlets will also offer a range of tasty vegan and gluten-free options.
Refreshments: For Vitality Blast matches, extra catering and pop-up bar facilities will be available, serving a wide range of low and no-alcohol options, plus favourites including draught beers and ciders, bottled beers, wines, prosecco, Pimm’s in glasses or carafes, and soft drinks.
The club operates Challenge 25 and a responsible drinking policy. All bars offer low alcohol, or 0% beer, cider and gin.
The Club’s alcohol-free seating section during Vitality Blast matches is located at one side of the Ryley Wealth Management Grandstand, nearest the Family Zone.
Reusable Drinkware: The Club operates a Reusable Drinkware policy, details of which can be found HERE.
Spectators are permitted to bring their own refreshments to this fixture, however alcohol is not permitted. Soft drinks/water must be brought in clear plastic bottles. Please note, our Alcohol Policy states no more than four drinks can be served to any one person per transaction.
Water Refill Stations: Free-to-use water refill stations are located outside of the Pavilion, the Ryley Wealth Elite Performance Centre and to the side of the Boundary Bar. Supporters can refill their own bottles, or purchase reusable cups from the Club Shop.
Reception in The Pavilion will be open to supporters wishing to purchase tickets for future fixtures/events, or to enquire about Membership.
Club Shop: The Club Shop on site at The County Ground will be open on the matchday. Please check the opening times on the front of the Club Shop.
Online Shop: The Club’s Online Shop is live at derbyshireccc.com. The online shop now includes new replica Vitality Blast and Vitality County Championship shirts, as well as new leisurewear items.
Scorecards: A blank scorecard template can be downloaded for free, HERE. A teamsheet can also be collected from Reception in the Pavilion (please allow time after the toss has been made for the teamsheet to be compiled). As part of the Club’s initiative to reduce paper waste, we encourage supporters to use the Club website for the latest score and team information via our Match Centre (details and link below).
Derbyshire County Cricket Club operates a cashless policy across all Club-managed points of sale on site – from ticket gates, to catering.
All of our catering and bar tills will accept all major debit/credit cards, as well as contactless payment options, including Apple and Android Pay.
The Club’s Multi-Faith Room, located beneath the WDS Business & Media Centre, will be open for use by spectators. For assistance, please speak to your nearest steward.
