England Women will face West Indies in the first Metro Bank One-Day International of 2025 at The County Ground on Friday 30 May.
The fixture, which will fall during half-term for local schools, will see the likes of Shemaine Campbelle, Safanie Taylor and Rashada Williams respresent West Indies in Derby for the first time since the five-match T20 series in the summer of 2020.
Derbyshire-born Hundred winner, Sarah Glenn, will be in action on home soil, having been Player of the Series against West Indies four years ago, and will be joined by global superstars in Nat Sciver-Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone, who will likely be fresh from featuring in the Women’s Premier League.
The County Ground is renowned as one of the premier venues for women’s cricket in the country, with Heather Knight’s England having faced the likes of South Africa, India, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan in recent seasons, in front of capacity crowds and record-breaking TV audiences.
