Fast bowler Harry Moore has been called up by England Under 19s for their upcoming tour of South Africa.
Moore, 17, made ten first team appearances in 2024, claiming 16 wickets across first-class and List A cricket, while also providing crucial lower-order runs in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup win over Somerset in August.
The Pathway graduate, who signed a new three-year deal with Derbyshire in September, made his England Under 19s debut earlier this summer, and has since gone on to play for England Lions, alongside clubmate Pat Brown.
The England Under 19s squad will fly out on Thursday 9 January with the opening Youth ODI at Cape Town on Friday 17 January. The two-match Test series begins in Stellenbosch on Sunday 26 January before the second Youth Test in Cape Town starting Monday 3 February.

And while everyone thinks they know the Derbyshire story, it’s time to flip the script, to re-define everything you know and push for greatness.
Projects take time, and our time is now. In 2025, we play with Expectations Evolved.
