Members of the Derbyshire squad and coaching staff have been playing in various parts of the globe over the past few weeks. Here, we catch up to see how everyone has been getting on.
Blair Tickner & Ben Smith
Over the weekend, Tickner and Smith tasted success as Central Stags lifted the Super Smash trophy.
Head Coach Smith oversaw the successful T20 campaign as fast bowler Tickner claimed match figures of one for 17, to finish the competition as the leading wicket taker with 16 dismissals.
Mickey Arthur & Nye Donald
Rangpur Riders were knocked out of the Bangladesh Premier League this morning, after losing an eliminator fixture against Khulna Tigers.
Donald didn’t have the opportunity to make an appearance for the franchise side, who won eight games in-a-row in the qualifying stages.
Harry Moore
On Day One of the England Under 19s Test, Derbyshire fast bowler Moore has claimed one wicket so far.
He will have further opportunity to impress over the coming days.
Wayne Madsen
Madsen is currently in Hong Kong with Italy, as the side prepare for 50 over World Cup qualifying fixtures, starting on Friday.
Italy have five fixtures as the side aim to qualify for an ICC event for the first time.
Overseas Club Cricket
Harry Came’s Claremont Cricket Club in South Africa sit seventh in the table, after defeat to league leaders Western Province Cricket Club at the weekend.
Jack Morley top-scored with 47 in a losing effort as North Balwyn Bulls leapfrogged Mont Albert in the table. Morley currently has 28 wickets at 19.57, as well as averaging 31.50 with the bat.
Luis Reece registered his highest score of the season at the weekend, scoring 130 not out, as his side Gosnells tied in a brilliant match against Freemantle, with both teams posting 249.
Reece has also claimed 26 wickets at 20.65 with his left-arm seamers.
Mitch Wagstaff will be returning to The County Ground soon in preparation for the 2025 season.
