Derbyshire and BRM have extended their partnership for the 2025 season, which will see the leading law firm once again sponsor the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket this summer.
BRM, who have offices in Chesterfield and Sheffield, have long provided support for the popular Festival since first becoming involved in 2013, a period in which Derbyshire have enjoyed a run of six-straight T20 sell outs and seven-consecutive wins over Yorkshire.
The BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket is among the most popular outground events in the county cricket calendar, as supporters from all over the country travel to experience the thrill and tradition of Queen’s Park, overlooked by the iconic crooked spire.
This summer’s historic BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket will be made up of more cricket than ever before, with both the men’s and women’s game represented.
It all begins on Saturday 28 June, when Derbyshire Falcons Women face Worcestershire Rapids in Vitality Blast T20 action, before a Lancashire side, including England’s greatest ever bowler, Jimmy Anderson, travel to Chesterfield to take on Derbyshire in the Rothesay County Championship, starting on Sunday 29 June.
The Blaze make their Festival bow against Hampshire in a T20 on Friday 4 July, with the Festival closing with the huge T20 before Derbyshire Falcons Men take on Yorkshire on Sunday 6 July.
Tickets are on sale now for the T20 fixture against Yorkshire, while Festival Passes, which include all seven days of cricket for just £59 are also available.
Commercial Manager, Jimmy Drew, said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with BRM, a relationship which has lasted more than a decade and continues to grow stronger.
“The BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket remains one of the most popular weeks of our season and, with both our men’s and women’s teams represented in 2025, we hope to inspire the next generation of cricketers from across the county.”
BRM Executive Director and Head of Wills & Probate, Rob Woodhead, added: “We’re very proud to be sponsoring the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket once again. It’s a fantastic local event that brings the community together, and we’re excited to be supporting both Derbyshire cricket and our town. As ever, we’re looking forward to a great week of sport at Queen’s Park.”
