The Falcons’ opening home T20 of the summer against Northants Steelbacks on Wednesday 4 June, will feature a celebration of Vitality Blast legends and 15 years of Derbyshire Falcons.
The evening will centre around the T20 careers of Wayne Madsen, who could make his 200th appearance at The County Ground, Samit Patel and Ross Whiteley, who between them have more than 10,000 runs, four Vitality Blast titles and a raft of iconic moments within the competition. There will be special pre-match entertainment, commemorative legend’s giveaway to show your support on the night and exclusive offers on food and drink.
The match will also feature the T20 home debuts of Big Bash winner, Caleb Jewell, and Afghanistan wonderkid, AM Ghazanfar, so be sure to get your tickets to see our overseas stars, first.
With four Vitality Blast titles and a host of iconic T20 moments to their names, Wayne Madsen, Samit Patel and Ross Whiteley are a trio worthy of celebration.
Patel is the leading appearance maker in Vitality Blast history, while Madsen is the Falcons best-ever T20 player. Both feature in the top ten for runs in the competition, while Whiteley has won it twice and is the only player to hit six sixes in a Vitality Blast over!
Ahead of the game, there will be exclusive interviews with all three players, highlights and stats on their careers, as well as guest appearances from former teammates.
Falcons supporters will also receive a souvenir T20 legend’s face mask, so you can support your favourite player on their special night.
Throughout the 2025 Vitality Blast campaign, we will be celebrating 15 years of Derbyshire Falcons, with special content, in-ground entertainment, offers, supporter activities and more.
