Derbyshire batter, Harry Came, will tour Kenya with the MCC as part of a two-week tour.
The 13-man touring party are scheduled to play eight games across the fortnight, with matches varying between 20, 30 and 50-over formats.
The action will start in Nairobi, before moving north to Nakuru and then to coastal Mombasa, before returning to finish the tour back in the capital.
The fixtures run from 4 November until 14 November, with updates from the matches communicated through our Derbyshire Abroad articles.
As with all MCC overseas tours, the players will take part in coaching local schools and clubs, with several sessions planned across the trip.
The MCC Foundation has also been carrying out work in the country for the past year, as part of a programme of work across East Africa partnering with Cricket Without Boundaries. Thousands of young people have already been exposed to cricket in Kenya through projects ran by the MCCF.
Tour Manager Arfan Akram said: “We are thrilled to be travelling to Kenya for such a significant tour.
“We are looking forward to eight competitive matches against strong opposition and it is a fantastic opportunity for this set of Playing Members to represent the Club abroad.
“As with any MCC tour, coaching local children is one of the main priorities of the trip and we have some interesting sessions lined up which are part of several projects in the country.”
