Overseas seamer, Mohammad Amir, has qualified for the knockout phase of the Abu Dhabi T10 after an incredible spell of bowling yesterday.
The left-armer claimed remarkable figures of 4 for 7 off his two overs, including a triple-wicket maiden in his first over, and a brilliant run out off his own bowling.
Unsurprisingly, these are the best bowling figures in the 2023 Abu Dhabi T10, as he joins only one other player to take four wickets in an innings in this year’s edition.

Amir currently has five wickets in the tournament at an average of 14.6, and an economy rate of just 6.63.
The former Pakistan international returned for his second over later in the innings, bowling Jason Roy, eventually conceding a boundary off his twelfth delivery. Before this four, Amir had delivered nine dot balls and only conceded three runs.
Strikers went on to win the match by five wickets and they currently sit top of the table, having won their last five matches in the tournament.
He will join up with Derbyshire ahead of the 2024 season, playing five red ball matches and as a Derbyshire Falcon in the Vitality Blast.
