Derbyshire all-rounder, Luis Reece, spoke to the Club about Derbyshire’s two big Vitality Blast matches in 2024.
Reece, Derbyshire’s 2023 Player of the Year, discussed the East Midlands Rivalry against Notts Outlaws on Friday 7 June, as well as the Yorkshire Vikings fixture at Queen’s Park, a month later.
Both matches present an opportunity for Mickey Arthur’s new look Twenty20 side to impress, as Nottinghamshire legend Samit Patel aims to help the Falcons overcome the Outlaws after 22 years of service.
The left-handed opener also spoke about the incredible occasion that the Chesterfield Festival presents the players, having won six matches in a row against Yorkshire in the shortest format at Chesterfield.
