The first and second days of Derbyshire Second XI’s Championship match versus Warwickshire at Denby Cricket Club have been abandoned due to a waterlogged outfield.

The two sides had been due to face up in a three-day fixture starting on Monday 11 July, but heavy rain over Derbyshire in the past few days has put paid to any play on the first two days.

A decision regarding possible play on Day Three, scheduled for Wednesday 13 July, is likely to be made late on Tuesday and will be first communicated on the Club’s Twitter account.

Supporters can save 20% by purchasing their NatWest T20 Blast matchday tickets in advance of the day of the game. Buy online, over the phone by calling 01332 388 101 or in person at The 3aaa County Ground.
