Derbyshire Women & Girls’ Pathway graduates, Sarah Glenn and Bess Heath, have been named in the England Women squads for their upcoming IT20 and ODI series against New Zealand.
Glenn, 24, has claimed more than 80 international wickets since making her England debut in 2019 and is ranked as one of the world’s finest white ball bowlers, while Heath, 22, made her international debut against Sri Lanka last year.
The Derbyshire-born duo progressed through the Derbyshire system and have gone on to earn worldwide recognition, appearing in The Hundred, Women’s Big Bash and the international stage.
The tour of New Zealand will begin with a five-match IT20 series, starting on Tuesday 19 March in Dunedin, before ending with a three-game ODI series in April.
