Pre-Match Pack: Worcestershire Rapids (H)

Derbyshire have named a 15-player squad for their Metro Bank One-Day Cup fixture against Worcestershire Rapids at The County Ground tomorrow (11am).

After a dominant win over Lancashire, Derbyshire are aiming to make it four wins in-a-row in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, as they aim for a place in the knockout stages.

Fast bowler, Pat Brown, claimed a career-best 5-37 last time out and he will again be part of a pace attack containing the likes of Sam Conners, Zak Chappell, Daryn Dupavillon and Harry Moore.

With the bat, Luis Reece has struck half-centuries in each of his last two innings, while Brooke Guest has remained unbeaten on home soil in the 50-over competition, with scores of 32* and 37*.

The Opposition

Like Derbyshire, Worcestershire Rapids are unbeaten in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup, having won each of their opening two games in convincing fashion. They began the competition with a 183-run victory over Middlesex, before following that up with a 93-run win over Durham.

Opener, Ed Pollock, is their leading run-scorer, with all but two of his 182 runs so far coming in a stellar knock against Middlesex, while young spinner, Tom Hinley, has five wickets to his name, having been crucial in the win over Durham.

Derbyshire fast bowler, Pat Brown, spoke to Club Media after a career-best performance, as Derbyshire made it three wins in-a-row in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup. 

Brown picked up 5-37, as Derbyshire bowled Lancashire out for 99 inside 20 overs, before Luis Reece scored an unbeaten half-century to guide the side home, with more than 30 overs to spare.
