Derbyshire Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, will lead Rangpur Riders in the upcoming Global Super League, with Zak Chappell and Wayne Madsen set to join him in Guyana.

The Global Super League will see teams from all over the world going head-to-head for a fortnight, with Hampshire (England), Victoria (Australia), Lahore Qalandars (Pakistan), Guyana Amazon Warriors (West Indies) and Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh) all taking part.

Chappell has claimed 42 wickets in 26 T20 appearances for Derbyshire Falcons, while Madsen is the Club’s all-time leading T20 run-scorer, with 4,453 runs to his name, including two centuries.

Arthur will lead the squad, which includes a host of top performers from the Bangladesh Premier League, as well as West Indies international, Matthew Forde. He will also coach the Riders during the Bangladesh Premier League, which is due to start on 30 December.

The competition begins on Tuesday 26 November, with the final to be played on Saturday 7 December. Be sure to check Derbyshire’s official channels for updates on all players playing overseas during the off-season.
