Derbyshire Women & Girls Pathway alumni, Sarah Glenn, Bess Heath and Danni Wyatt-Hodge, have been named in the England Women squad for January’s Ashes series against Australia.
The Women’s Ashes is a multi-format series, comprised of three T20s, three One-Day Internationals and one Test match. Wyatt-Hodge has been named in the squads for all three formats, while Glenn (ODI & T20) and Heath (T20 & Test) will also be hoping to make an impact down under.
Glenn is ranked as one of the best white-ball bowlers in the world, having claimed more than 100 wickets since making her debut in 2019, while Wyatt-Hodge is England’s all-time leading run-scorer in T20s. At 23, Heath is the youngest of the trio, but the powerful wicketkeeper-batter already has eight international appearances to her name.
