Derbyshire Falcons Men have named a 15-player squad for their Vitality Blast final fixture against Birmingham Bears (6.30pm), while Derbyshire Falcons Women will be aiming to keep their Finals Day hopes alive against Northants Steelbacks (2.30pm), as part of this Friday’s T20 double-header.
Mickey Arthur’s side will be aiming to finish the group stage with back-to-back wins, having beaten Yorkshire convincingly at Headingley on Sunday afternoon, with Ben Aitchison (5-29) and Mohammad Ghazanfar (2-5) claiming excellent figures, while Nye Donald scored a Club record-breaking sixth T20 half-century of the season.
The Falcons Women will be hoping their big-hitting opening pair, Jess Couser and Lara Shaw, will be the difference against the Steelbacks, with the two having combined for almost 250 runs this season.
Rhiannon Knowling-Davies leads the way with the ball, having claimed ten dismissals in the Vitality Blast, a figure only bettered by two bowlers in the competition.

The Opposition
Birmingham Bears Men know they must win on Friday night if they are to secure a place in the quarter-finals, with Notts Outlaws, Leicestershire Foxes and Worcestershire Rapids all aiming to steal their fourth place.
With 439 runs to his name, Sam Hain is among the leading run-scorers in the men’s competition, while Pakistan seamer, Hasan Ali has picked up 24 wickets at an average of just 15.
Like the Falcons Women, Northants Steelbacks Women know this is a must-win game for their Finals Day prospects, as they sit in fourth place and three points behind second-placed Leicestershire Foxes ahead of their final game.
Three players have picked up six wickets apiece for the Steelbacks, that trio being Amelia Kemp, Ella Phillips and Lenny Sims.
