Matchday Guide: Falcons vs Rapids at Repton Metro Bank One-Day-Cup

Derbyshire Falcons take on Worcestershire Rapids in the Metro Bank One-Day-Cup at Repton School on Friday 15 August, starting at 11am.

If you are joining us for this SOLD OUT fixture, please read the information below which will ensure that your visit is safe, enjoyable and comfortable.

Supporters are encouraged to check the latest weather forecast before planning their visit and prepare accordingly. While refreshments will be available to purchase, the Club advises supporters to bring plenty of bottled water, as well as sun cream and hats.

This fixture is now sold out and no tickets will be available to purchase on the day.

All Members have been required to claim a free ticket. Membership cards alone do not grant entry,

Member Guest Passes: Due to a limited capacity, Members’ Guest Passes are not applicable for this fixture.


Ground Entry & Parking

Ample parking is available and Car Park Passes will be applicable, while non-Members are encouraged to purchase parking in advance.

– Sports Fields (Orange on Ground Map, enter off Willington Road): Seasonal Car Park Pass Holders, pre-purchased matchday parking, on the day matchday parking (priced at £10)

Bus Route

From Derby Bus Station, Get the V3 to Burton, Get off at ‘The Cross’ and walk 3 mins to Repton School (takes approx. 37 mins)

Ground Access by Foot/Public Transport: Pedestrians who walk to the venue or arrive by public transport can enter via the main entrance (under the arch) off Willington Road.

Ticket Scanning: Ticket Scanning will take place by the Box Office as shown on the ground map below.

You must present your match ticket to be scanned (club-issued printed ticket, printed e-ticket, or e-ticket displayed on a smartphone).


Seating & Viewing

Spectator Seating: The ground map above shows spectator seating areas. Due to a limited capacity and the popularity of this fixture, spectators must sit in their pre-chosen seating area. All General Admission tickets will either state ‘Members Area ONLY’ or ‘General Admission’ denoting the chosen seating area.

Own Chairs: Every supporter will be provided a chair therefore, due to capacity restrictions, own chairs and picnic blankets are not permitted to this fixture.

Dogs: Due to the limited capacity of seating areas, supporters are not permitted to bring dogs to this fixture.


Food & Drink

Spectators can enjoy delicious Woodfired Pizza, sweet and savoury waffles from the Waffle Stand, as well as refreshments from the bar.

Tea and Coffee can be purchased from the Waffle Stand near the General Admission seating area, or the Tea/Coffee Stall near the Members seating area.

All outlets will also offer a range of tasty vegan and gluten-free options.

The club operates Challenge 25 and a responsible drinking policy. All bars offer low alcohol, or 0% beer, cider and gin.

Spectators are permitted to bring their own food and refreshments to this fixture, however alcohol (or low/zero alcohol alternatives) is limited to four standard size cans.


Reception & Club Shop

While the Club’s usual Reception setup will not be available at Repton, supporters can enquire about future matches/tickets via the Box Office.

Club Shop: The Club Shop will be open (close to the General Admission area), selling a range of replica kits, as well as leisurewear and gift items.

Online Shop: The Club’s Online Shop is live at derbyshireccc.com, including replica kits and leisurewear, as well as heritage books regarding The Central Co-op County Ground, Derby and Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.

Scorecards: A blank scorecard template can be downloaded for free, HERE. A teamsheet can also be collected from the Box Office on the day. As part of the Club’s initiative to reduce paper waste, we encourage supporters to use the Club website for the latest score and team information via our Match Centre (details and link below).


Cashless Venue

Derbyshire County Cricket Club operates a cashless policy across all Club-managed points of sale on site – from ticket gates, to catering.

All of our catering and bar tills will accept all major debit/credit cards, as well as contactless payment options, including Apple and Android Pay.

The Club encourages all visitors to plan their journey in advance and allow plenty of time to access the venue. Car Parks open at 9am, with gates opening at 9.30am for General Admission spectators.
