Derbyshire is set for an exciting new era in the NatWest T20 Blast this summer, under the reign of former India and Mumbai Indians Head Coach, John Wright.
The former Derbyshire and New Zealand batsman has been appointed as the Club’s Specialist Twenty20 Coach and his sole priority will be progressing in the NatWest T20 Blast this summer.
This year’s competition will start later, with more cricket than ever taking place in the summer school holidays, and take part in a shorter period, offering one great block of action this July and August.
