Derbyshire Falcons resume their NatWest T20 Blast campaign with the visit of Leicestershire Foxes to The 3aaa County Ground on Thursday 18 June; 7pm start.
The game also marks the Colin Bloomfield Melanoma Appeal fixture, in support of skin cancer charity Skcin.
The Colin Bloomfield Melanoma Appeal was launched by BBC Radio Derby after Colin, who sadly passed away in April, was diagnosed with Melanoma in 2013. His openness and dedication to raise awareness of the disease touched thousands of listeners, with the appeal raising to date over £95,000.
The Club will be using the fixture to raise funds and build awareness of the appeal. The Club will be donating 10% of each advance matchday ticket sold and each advance ticket buyer will receive a booklet on sun safety. There will also be an opportunity for supporters to donate on the night.
Leicestershire defeated Derbyshire by seven wickets when the two sides met last month. The Falcons will once again have to be wary of the experienced big-hitters of Mark Cosgrove, Kevin O’Brien and Grant Elliott as well as the accuracy of Australia international bowler Clint McKay.
Tickets are still available and supporters who buy their tickets 24 hours in advance of the game will save £4 per ticket. Best value for adults, however, can be found through one of our popular Six Pack Tickets which grants entry to any six days of cricket for just £72.
New for 2015 is the ‘Double the Action Ticket’ that allows supporters to attend two successive fixtures for £25, saving £15 from buying tickets on the gate for both encounters.
Bring your mates and save with out group discount offer when you buy 10 or more tickets in one transaction. For more information, please call 0871 350 1870.
