New Zealand international batsman Hamish Rutherford is set to make his LV= County Championship debut for Derbyshire as they take on Surrey at The 3aaa County Ground, starting on Sunday; 11am.
Rutherford has taken over the overseas berth for Tillakaratne Dilshan, who has headed off to the Caribbean Premier League, and will be available for three LV= County Championship matches.
Seam-bowler Tom Taylor also returns to the squad after he missed out on last week’s defeat to Essex through injury.
Graeme Welch has named 12 players in the squad, with Mark Footitt set to line-up for Derbyshire after a week in which he was named in England’s 14-man pre-Ashes squad.

Bowlers Stuart Meaker and Chris Tremlett have both represented England in recent years while they also have the experienced Vikram Solanki and Gareth Batty in their ranks.
Opening batsman Arun Harinath and Zafar Ansari will be looking to continue their good form after they put on a first-wicket stand of 208 against Glamorgan last time out.
