Duanne Olivier took a second four-wicket haul in the match to give Derbyshire a 101-run victory over Middlesex on the final day at The 3aaa County Ground.
Olivier (4-82) struck in his first over of the day, one of three wickets on the day, while Matt Critchley (2-51) picked up two key wickets. Olivier then returned to take the final wicket and seal a first home four-day victory since September 2014.
The Middlesex lower order, led by James Harris (64 not out) offered much resistance throughout the day, but ultimately Derbyshire’s strong pace attack claimed the seven wickets they needed on the final day.
