Luis Reece claimed 3-58 and there was a wicket each for Matt Critchley and Will Davis as Derbyshire claimed a bonus bowling point on Day Three versus Leicestershire.
The match eventually got underway after the lunch interval on another rain-affected day, but the Leicestershire openers were quick to get to work, adding 94 for the opening wicket.
Reece struck either side of the tea interval to pick up a bonus bowling point, before the hosts closed on 267-5 ending a shared day’s play.
