With only nine weeks to go, Smith Partnership, one of Derby’s leading solicitors, has thrown its support behind the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation (CDF) T20 Walkathon.
The T20 Walkathon returns for a second year and will see fundraisers walk 20 miles from Trent Bridge, Nottingham, to The 3aaa County Ground, Derby.
Smith Partnership has become the title sponsor for this year’s event, which takes place on Friday 13 July ahead of the Vitality Blast derby between Derbyshire Falcons and Notts Outlaws (7pm start, approx. 9.45pm finish).
All walkers will receive bus travel to Trent Bridge, donated by Trent Barton, for the start of the walk, a sponsored walk t-shirt and an event pack. The registration fee, of £25, also includes safety stewards for the journey, ticket for the Vitality Blast match and on arrival in Derby a hog roast roll and complimentary drink, courtesy of Greene King.
All proceeds raised will go to the CDF (Charity No. 1155801) and will support the delivery of a range of community projects to young people across the county, using the power of sport.
