Lockie Ferguson claimed 4-26, but Dan Christian hit 62 from 40 balls to guide Notts Outlaws to a 39-run victory (D/L) over Derbyshire Falcons at The 3aaa County Ground.
The Notts captain also took three wickets and Tom Moores struck a quick-fire fifty to inflict a third Vitality Blast defeat on Derbyshire.
Ferguson was the pick of the Derbyshire bowlers with a career-best four wickets and Calum Macleod also hit a well-made 48 but the Falcons ultimately slipped to defeat in front of a good crowd in Derby.
After Gary Wilson put the visitors into bat, Steven Mullaney got Notts off to a flier with a flurry of boundaries in the opening overs.
However, Ferguson came into the attack to take two wickets in an over and remove both openers Will Fraine (14) and Mullaney (20), reducing the score to 35-2 after 4 overs.
The Outlaws finished the powerplay on 50-2 but Ferguson returned to again claim two wickets in an over. Samit Patel (3) and Billy Root (8) fell to the New Zealand international as he claimed his fourth wicket of the match.
Tom Moores and Christian came together at the crease to stop the rot as the pair played fluently to bring up 100 at the end of the 11th over.
The Notts duo continued their fine form as both hit big sixes to accelerate the score to 119-4 after 12 overs. Moores (53) then brought up his half-century from 24 balls before Alex Hughes got the breakthrough with the next ball.
The Outlaws batsmen continued to score quickly but Paul Coughlin (4) and Jake Libby (3) fell in the space of two overs as Hughes took his second wicket of the match.
Christian brought up his fifty from 33 balls in the penultimate over before a rain delay halted his progress. Restricted to 19 overs, the Outlaws posted 175-8 and Derbyshire were set 179 runs to win from 19 overs after a DLS calculation.
Ben Slater got the Falcons off to a flier in their chase, hitting three boundaries from the opening over. However, he fell for 14 in the next over to Christian before Hughes (0) was run out to reduce Derbyshire to 18-2 after three overs.
Matt Critchley looked to respond as he struck four boundaries from a Christian over to accelerate the Falcons to 34-2 after four overs.
Harry Gurney returned to the attack to remove Critchley (19) in the next over as Derbyshire slipped to 44-3 at the end of the powerplay.
The hosts continued to lose wickets at regular intervals as Madsen, Wilson and Riaz all fell for six and Notts reduced the Falcons to 83-6 after 12 overs.
MacLeod provided some resistance for Derbyshire as he continued to hit boundaries before falling for 48. Smit (15) made a short cameo before Gurney dismissed him to take his second wicket as the Falcons fell 40 runs short of the target.
