The Custom Solar Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council returns from Sunday 22 July, with five days of action-packed cricket at Queen’s Park.
The week-long festival begins with the Specsavers County Championship match versus Northamptonshire, before concluding with the popular Vitality Blast derby against Yorkshire Vikings.
The Club has received unprecedented demand for the Yorkshire fixture, which sold out in advance in 2017, and only 500 tickets are still remaining for the Twenty20 match. The fixture is expected to sell out for a third year in a row.
Tickets for the four-day match, meanwhile, are only £12 for adults when purchased in advance.
Chief Executive, Simon Storey said: “We received terrific support at Queen’s Park in 2017 and demand has once again been high for the week-long festival.
“Queen’s Park is one of the game’s most picturesque venues and has played host to some of the world’s biggest names, and many memorable moments down the years.
“The local derby versus Yorkshire at Chesterfield is always a special occasion with a full house at Queen’s Park, and we’re delighted that the match is set to sell out for a third year in a row.”
Only 500 tickets are still available for the Yorkshire Vikings fixture at Queen’s Park. The Club is encouraging all supporters who wish to attend this match to buy quickly to avoid disappointment.
Derbyshire Members are reminded that they are required to claim a ticket in advance, at no extra charge, for the Yorkshire Vikings fixture. Members without a match ticket will not be allowed entry. To claim a ticket, please call 01332 388 101 or email [email protected].
