Cricket vs Football: A Question of Sport returns on Thursday 15 November as Derbyshire County Cricket Club and Derby County teams go head-to-head in a quiz similar to the popular TV show.
The event, which raises funds for the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation (Registered Charity No: 1155801), offers an evening of entertainment with teams featuring former Derby County FC players Roy McFarland and Craig Ramage, as well as Kevin Dean and BBC Radio Derby cricket commentator, Dave Fletcher, among the cricket representatives.
The cricket team, captained by Tony Palladino, will be looking to regain the trophy they lost last year in the 10-round quiz which features rounds such as ‘Picture Board’, ‘What Happens Next?’ and ‘Home or Away’.
Tickets for the night, which gets underway at 7pm in the Pavilion at The County Ground, are priced at £10. The bar will be open serving refreshments and light snacks will also be available.
