Fixtures out next week
The countdown to the 2019 season can begin as fixtures for new campaign get released on Tuesday 27 November from 10am on derbyshireccc.com.
Derbyshire will host up to 39 days of domestic home cricket next summer with Specsavers County Championship, Royal London One-Day Cup and Vitality Blast action.
Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup fixtures will be announced at 10am, before the full list of Vitality Blast matches will be released at 5pm.
Fitness training well underway
Lead Physiotherapist, Fran Clarkson, as well as Strength & Conditioning Coach, Jonty Norris, have launched a tailored fitness programme for the Derbyshire players to start pre-season training.
A crucial period, which will provide results for use during the season, this intense course of fitness training is designed to not only improve player fitness, but reduce any lasting impact caused by injuries throughout the summer.

Member events at Derby and Chesterfield this week
Derbyshire will host two Members’ events this week to conclude the 2018 Members’ Forums. Head of Cricket, Dave Houghton, will be at both events to answer questions on all cricket matters and provide an overview of his role and plans for 2019.
