Derbyshire took four wickets on a rain-hit Day Three of the Specsavers County Championship game against Leicestershire.
Logan van Beek’s 26, along with 11 from Tony Palladino and 14 not out from Ravi Rampaul helped Derbyshire to a total of 214, setting Leicestershire a target of 234 to win.
Palladino, Rampaul, Luis Reece and Wayne Madsen each took a wicket, as the hosts managed 110 before rain before tea meant that no further play was possible, meaning that Leicestershire require a further 124 runs on Day Four to win.
