Over 600 people attended our fourth annual Cricket Derbyshire Family Fun Day on Saturday 22 June at The Pattonair County Ground.
A record number of families from the local community and wider Derby area took to the outfield in the sunshine for cricket activities and coaching clinics, as well as giant inflatables and mini games.
Derbyshire players were on hand to run exclusive batting, bowling and fielding clinics with County Age Group squads, as well as local youngsters.
Led by Derbyshire Cricket Board coaches and All Stars volunteers, hundreds of children took part in mini matches and coaching drills on the field, with further Derbyshire players joining in and helping to inspire future generations of cricketers.
All attendees had the chance to register for two free Vitality Blast tickets to the home match versus Lancashire Lightning on Sunday 28 July (2.30pm), and with over 250 sign-ups, more local people in Derby have the opportunity to experience high-action Twenty20 cricket in Derby this summer.
All Vitality Blast tickets are on sale now, with discounts available by purchasing in advance, and Family Tickets (2 adults, 2 U16s) from just £36.
