We will bring the razzmatazz of the Indian Premier League to Derby as the Falcons entertain Lancashire Lightning on Friday 29 May (7pm start) and guests in the Marquee will be able to watch the explosive action from some of the best seats in the house.
There will also be Indian-themed entertainment throughout the night, before the Twenty20 action takes centre stage, which will also be aired live on Sky Sports. Supporters will be able to see South Africa superstar Hashim Amla, who is currently ranked as the number three Test and ODI batsman in the world, in action for Derbyshire.
Amla will also be taking part in a team signing session immediately after the close of play.
The vastly-experienced top-order batsman headlines a star-studded line-up that also includes Derbyshire’s Big Bash fast bowler Nathan Rimmington, new NatWest T20 Blast Captain Wes Durston and 90mph quick bowler Mark Footitt.
Derbyshire welcome a Lancashire Lightning side, who were losing finalists in last year’s competition, containing a wealth of talent to call upon.
Aussie all-rounder and World Cup winner James Faulkner will be available fresh from his spell in the Indian Premier League with the Rajasthan Royals. They will also have former South Africa Test batsman Ashwell Prince, England Lions all-rounder Tom Smith and Steven Croft amongst their ranks.
Tickets, which include your matchday ticket, entry into the Marquee and a three-course buffet, are available for just £35 for adults, £15 for juniors and £25 for Members and matchday ticket holders.
