Derbyshire were beaten by Australia on Day Three of the Aston Lark Tourist Fixture at The Pattonair County Ground.
Mitchell Starc claimed 4-39 in Derbyshire’s second innings, as the hosts were all out for 112, to lose by an innings and 54 runs in Derby.
Having made 86 on Day One, Leus du Plooy once again top-scored for Derbyshire on the final day, scoring 37, while Matt Critchley finished unbeaten on 17.
du Plooy began the day with Alex Hughes also at the crease and the hosts on 53-3, still trailing by 113 before the latter was bowled by Michael Neser for 11.
A rain delay saw the players briefly leave the field, and when they came back on, Mitchell Marsh struck to dismiss du Plooy and Alfie Gleadall (0).
Starc claimed the final two wickets in back-to-back deliveries as the tourists confirmed victory before lunch at The Pattonair County Ground.
