Luis Reece struck 97 and Matt Critchley claimed 3-78 for their respective sides in Australia over the weekend.

Reece made his return to Gosnells CC, where he is captain and Assistant Head Coach, and top-scored in a four-wicket victory, falling just three runs short of a century.

Critchley took a trio of wickets for Fairfield Liverpool CC against Blacktown Mounties CC, who declared on 342-9, before the Derbyshire all-rounder ended the first day of the two-day match unbeaten on five, with his side 8-1.

Fynn Hudson-Prentice could not continue his fine form for Lancaster Park CC in New Zealand, with the side’s match against Riccarton CC abandoned.

Rain also meant that Mattie McKiernan was not in action for South Hobart Sandy Bay Sharks, who were due to face University of Tasmania on Saturday.

All four players could be in action this weekend, with scheduled games for each of their teams.
