Members of the Derbyshire squad have each run 2.6 miles today to complete a relay marathon with all funds raised being donated to the Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity.
The idea, which originated with all-rounder Fynn Hudson-Prentice and has since been supported by the entire playing and coaching staff, is designed to raise awareness of the dedication and hard work being carried out by staff across the Trust at this challenging time.
Over 12,000 staff across five hospital sites in Derbyshire and South-East Staffordshire are working around the clock, as are key workers up and down the country, to combat the coronavirus pandemic. All of the money raised will go towards supporting this ongoing work.
