Official Charity Partner, YMCA Derbyshire, are holding their annual Sleep Easy event on Friday 4 March at The 3aaa County Ground with members of the public sleeping rough so other’s don’t have to.
The aim is to raise money to help YMCA Derbyshire continue supporting young and vulnerable homeless people in Derby.
Last year £35,500 was raised from this event which was instrumental in enabling YMCA to support 211 chaotic homeless people.
YMCA provided a safe front door to the 211, in addition to the 1:1 support needed for them to move towards independent living, gain employment and complete their YMCA journey to becoming contributing members of society.
All the money raised from the event enables YMCA to continue changing the lives of vulnerable and young people locally. They can only do this with your help!

So far YMCA have participants signed up from, Derbyshire County Cricket Club, 3aaa, Rolls Royce, Quadralene, Capita, Bell & Co, Toyota UK, Derby City Council, Derby Grammar School, Derby Telegraph, and of course YMCA Derbyshire. Teams from Flint Bishop and Geldard’s are also imminent.
