More than 90% of the tickets have been sold for Derbyshire Falcons’ Vitality Blast fixture against Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield, on Saturday 18 June.
The Falcons are unbeaten in their last three T20 meetings against Yorkshire at Chesterfield, while Mickey Arthur’s side have already overcome their rivals once this season, with a nine-wicket win at Headingley.
With captain Shan Masood leading on the field, the Falcons are aiming for a place in the knockout stages of the competition, and a win over the Vikings with five Vitality Blast games to go would provide a big boost.
Australian all-rounder, Hayden Kerr, will also get his first taste of a packed-out Queen’s Park, having already experienced the atmosphere of the Big Bash final with Sydney Sixers.
Tickets are still on sale, but they’re selling fast, with more than 4,500 already sold, including 1,000 purchases since the start of the Vitality Blast, as the fixture heads towards a fourth-successive sell-out.
