Derbyshire have named a 12-man squad for their LV= County championship match up against Worcestershire at New Road, starting on Monday 25 July at 11am.
Leus du Plooy will again captain the side, with Billy Godleman left out, while Harry Came will be looking to build on his impressive performance against Nottinghamshire last time out.
Brooke Guest scored his fourth century of the season against Nottinghamshire and is closing on on 1,000 County Championship runs for the season, while Wayne Madsen is just 51 runs away from the milestone.
George Scrimshaw made his first red ball appearance of the season last week, and he’s named in the squad again, alongside Ben Aitchison, Sam Conners and Nick Potts.

The Opposition
Worcestershire are fifth in the LV= County Championship Division Two, with three wins and four draws from nine fixtures.
All-rounder, Ed Barnard (734) and young batter, Jack Haynes (621) have been Worcestershire’s key men with the bat this season, while captain Brett D’Oliveira has scored three centuries.
With the ball, five bowlers have taken 20 wickets or more, but it’s the experienced Joe Leach who leads the way with 23 wickets at an average of 22.26.
