Derbyshire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce the introduction of a Members’ Player of the Year award ahead of the 2023 season.
The award, which is sponsored by the Back to the Pavilion Podcast, will be voted for by Members in September and will be presented at the Club’s annual Player of the Year Gala Dinner.
This will allow supporters to recognise the players who have stood out most to them during the season, as Mickey Arthur’s side go in search of silverware in 2023.
Huw Lloyd of the Back to the Pavilion Podcast said: “Part of what makes Derbyshire special to me is the relationship that the club and the players have with its members. By creating this new award I think it strengthens the relationship even more and creates a special way the members can celebrate the successes of the players at the end of the season.”
