All-rounder, Luis Reece, and batter, Harry Came, have signed two-year contract extensions with Derbyshire, keeping them at The Incora County Ground until the end of the 2025 season.
Reece has been a key member of the squad across all formats since joining in 2017, making more than 5,700 runs and claiming 164 wickets.
Came signed for Derbyshire in 2021, after coming through the Hampshire youth system, and has established himself as a batter capable of adapting to all formats, scoring has maiden first-class century earlier this season.
The Second XI captain this season, Came led the side to the Second XI T20 title, which propelled him to an impressive run of form in the Vitality Blast, averaging 41 across six innings and putting on a Club-record T20 opening stand of 148 with Tom Wood against Leicestershire Foxes.
He has scored more than 1,300 runs across all formats for Derbyshire, including six half-centuries and one century.
Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, said: “Both Harry and Luis have shown great quality this season and their attitude and desire to win is the mindset we want in our dressing room.
“Luis is an experienced all-rounder across formats and he’s such a useful player to have in the squad. Harry has also shown great promise, but now we’re starting to see him deliver on that ability, which we’re looking forward to seeing flourish over the next two years.”
Reece added “This Club has become a home to me and I’m so pleased to be extending my stay. We have a great group here, we have ambitious targets and I’m excited to help us reach them.”
Came said: “I feel like I’m in a good position and getting better all the time under this coaching team, I’ve had a good start to the season and I want to contribute to more wins for this Club.”
