This summer has seen record attendances for women’s cricket and next year promises to be even bigger, with unprecedented demand in the pre-registration window.
England return to Derbyshire next May for their first 50-over action of 2024, as a Pakistan side featuring the likes of likes of Bismah Maroof, who has more than 3,000 ODI runs, and the big-hitting Muneeba Ali, who last year struck Pakistan’s first-ever T20 century, and also boasts a hundred in the 50-over format.
England have enjoyed good form at Derby over the years, only losing once at the venue since 2017 and winning nine times, while Derbyshire-born Sarah Glenn and Bess Heath could be in action in front of their birth county’s supporters.
