Batter Billy Godleman will leave Derbyshire upon the conclusion of his contract, after 11 seasons with the Club.
Godleman joined Derbyshire in 2013 and went on to score more than 10,000 runs for the Club, including 25 all-formats centuries and a high-score of 227 against Glamorgan at Swansea in 2019.
He was appointed Club Captain in 2016 and led the side for seven seasons, becoming the first Derbyshire skipper to guide his team to the Vitality Blast Finals Day in 2019, before stepping down ahead of the 2023 campaign.
An experienced opener, Godleman has a shade under 15,000 career runs to his name, having also played for Middlesex and Essex in a professional career which began in 2005.
