Derbyshire batter, Wayne Madsen, has been selected by Joburg Super Kings for the upcoming SA20 competition.
Madsen, who earlier this season equalled the world-record for consecutive scores of 50 or more in T20 cricket with five, will feature for the first time in the SA20, which will run in South Africa throughout January & February 2024.
He will join up with Leus du Plooy in the Joburg setup, as they look to build on a promising first season, after narrowly missing out on a place in the inaugural final.
All SA20 fixtures will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, and regular updates of Madsen’s progress will appear on the Club Website and official social media channels, as Derbyshire’s all-time leading T20 run-scorer gears up for the 2024 campaign with Mickey Arthur’s side.
