On Monday 6 July the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced that any England Women’s matches in 2020 would be played behind closed doors.

Unfortunately, that includes the second One-Day International between England and South Africa at The Incora County Ground, originally scheduled for Friday 11 September.

The ECB continue to plan for a number of women’s matches to take place later this summer, however these fixtures will be played without crowds in the interest of safety due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is disappointed to be unable to welcome crowds for an England fixture in 2020, but the safety of all players and spectators remains the club’s priority. We’ve seen fantastic support for England in Derby in recent seasons and we want to be able to welcome you back to The Incora County Ground as soon as it is safe to do so.

Your Tickets

If you purchased tickets for England vs South Africa on Friday 11 September, you now have three options:

• Donate your ticket fee to the Derbyshire Women & Girls cricket programme
• Claim a ticket voucher for 150% of the fee paid to be put towards a match in 2021
• Request a full refund

All donations will go towards the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation’s Women’s Development Pathway and Women & Girls Club Development.

If you choose the voucher option, you are entitled to 150% of the fee paid on tickets for the England fixture in 2020, to be put towards a Derbyshire home matchday, or an international fixture (where applicable) at The Incora County Ground in 2021. For example, if you purchased two adult tickets totalling £20, you will be entitled to a £30 ticket voucher to be used next summer.
