England return to The Pattonair County Ground
England will face South Africa at The Pattonair County Ground in the second One Day International of the Royal London Series on Friday 11 September, starting at 1pm.
Heather Knight and her side will be aiming to continue their unbeaten run in Derby, having twice beaten New Zealand in recent years.
England arrive at The Pattonair County Ground on Friday 11 September for the Royal London ODI against South Africa, with the likes of Nat Sciver and Katherine Brunt expected to be in action.
Knight’s side are currently ranked third in ODIs, and they will face stiff opposition from a South Africa side containing Marizanne Kapp and Dane van Niekerk, both of whom are ranked in the top-five for all-rounders.
Sciver said: “I look forward to playing at Derby. It was the ground where I scored my second England century, back in 2017, and it was also the ground that the Natmeg was born! Although we lost it was also the ground where we started our World Cup campaign in 2017 so it’s an important venue for us and it will be nice to return in 2020.”
