England Women will return to The Incora™ County Ground on Thursday 23 September to face New Zealand in a One-Day International (1pm start).
It’s a happy hunting ground for Heather Knight’s side, having been based there in 2020 for their T20 series against West Indies, which they won 5-0, while they have also enjoyed List A success in Derby in recent years.
England international, Sarah Glenn, claimed the Player of the Series for her performances against the West Indies, and she will be looking to replicate that form in the 50-over game against New Zealand, in her home county.
Derbyshire continues to affirm its place as a leading venue for international women’s cricket, from hosting the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2017, through to hosting a number of domestic and international fixtures.
England’s Tammy Beaumont is ranked as the number one ODI batsman in the world, and she will have a big part to play, alongside Nat Sciver and Katherine Brunt, if they are to extend their unbeaten run in Derby.
This fixture is included in 2021 Derbyshire Membership and Members are not required to claim a ticket at this stage. Any updates will be communicated on the Members’ Hub.
