Community Fixture: Derbyshire Falcons vs Essex
Derbyshire Falcons Metro Bank One-Day Cup game against Essex on Tuesday 26 August (11am) will be our 2025 Community Fixture, with plenty of fun activations and a showcase of local organisations, alongside top-class 50-over action at The County Ground.
The fun-filled day, delivered in partnership between Derbyshire County Cricket Club and the Derbyshire Cricket Foundation, will bring together supporters and recreational players, as well as the local community and business network, with something to enjoy for all at The County Ground.
As part of our commitment to making cricket a game for anyone, juniors go FREE on Community Day, while adult tickets are priced at just £10.
In the Marquee, there will be a showcase for local organisations to show what they can offer you, such as charities, local health, leisure & wellbeing centres and so much more.
T20 Double-Headers
This summer, The County Ground will play host to two huge Vitality Blast double-headers.
First, The Blaze return to the ground where they lifted the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup to face Essex, before the Falcons Men host Notts Outlaws in the East Midlands Derby.
Then, on Friday 18 July, the 2025 County Championship T20 winners, Falcons Women, face Worcestershire Rapids, ahead of Falcons Men’s final North Group game against Birmingham Bears.
These fixtures are perfect for a family day out, with two action-packed fixtures and the opportunity to meet the players after the games!

Friday 18 July: Falcons Women vs Rapids/Falcons Men vs Bears (Friday Finale)
