We can’t wait to welcome you back this summer, but in the interest of safety for all Members and supporters, there will be some changes to your usual matchday experience, and we kindly ask all spectators to work with us to make cricket’s return an enjoyable experience for all. It is also likely that there will be changes to our Matchday protocols and procedures from match-to-match as the season progresses.
As a Derbyshire Member you are at the front of the queue for all formats of cricket and as ever, everyone at the Club would like to thank you for your support.
Please take the time to read the below information, which includes important details regarding your Membership.
Fixtures & Formats
Derbyshire are set to return to all formats of cricket in 2021, with traditional first-class matches played throughout the summer, while List A action and the explosive Vitality Blast competition come in blocks.
The format of the LV= County Championship has changed for 2021, with counties being placed into three seeded groups base on 2019 and 2020 placings, with each county set to play ten matches at this stage – 5 at home and 5 away. Based on their group position, counties will then move into three divisions to play the final four matches and compete for the Bob Willis Trophy final in September.
Further details, as well as a diagram showing the structure, can be found via the link below.

Spectator Code of Conduct
To assist our staff and stewards, and to help protect you and your fellow spectators, you are required to follow the below guidelines when visiting our home venues. These measures meet the requirements of current legislation, guidance from the ECB and Safety at Sports Grounds (SGSA) regulations.
These will be different from your last visit and they may also change throughout the summer to comply with the latest government legislation. We kindly ask that supporters are patient with staff and each other as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Members Guest Passes
As communicated via the Members’ Hub earlier this season, once restrictions on capacities are lifted, Members can take advantage of their free Guest Passes for Royal London Cup and LV= County Championship home fixtures.
Members are entitled to four guest passes, or five Incora Executive Lounge Passes for Executive Members.
Guest passes must be claimed in advance of the day of the game. Guest tickets will not be issued on the gates.
The total number of guest passes can be used across multiple matchdays, or all for one fixture.
Each guest pass ticket is valid for one day of play only.
Guest passes fall under our 2021 Ticket Terms & Conditions.
To claim your guest passes, simply complete the short form below.
– please submit the form once per fixture. E.g. if you require two tickets for one fixture, then two for another, please submit the form twice (you may need to refresh your browser in between)
– you can re-submit the form at a later date for any subsequent fixtures until your pass limit is reached.
– the remaining two home LV= County Championship fixtures will be added once fixtures are confirmed by the ECB
Members Area – from 19.07.2021
Following the nationwide easing of restrictions from 19 July, we are pleased to confirm that more spectators will be able to enjoy live cricket in Derbyshire as our capacity increases.
The majority of our ground regulations, including Member facilities, will revert to how we have operated in previous seasons, however certain things will have changed and we encourage all spectators to read the Matchday Guide (link below) thoroughly to help make your visit a safe and enjoyable experience.
We want to assure all supporters that your safety and enjoyment remain our main priority and our ground safety, cleaning and staff procedures remain the same as we all transition back to greater normality.
We ask all supporters to not travel to The Incora County Ground if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
2021 and Life Members will be able to use the exclusive Incora Members Lounge as an indoor/balcony viewing area, while catering and bar facilities will be available. Please have your Membership Card ready to present to the steward upon entry.
Please note, the Members Lounge, as with seating around the ground, is unreserved and we kindly ask Members to not leave items unattended on seats/benches.
Incora Executive Members will have exclusive use of the Incora Executive Lounge, while the pre-order system for hot food, via our new Tell The Chef system, will continue to be in operation. Executive Members have been sent an email with details of how to do this. For any issues linked to pre-ordering, please email [email protected].
England vs New Zealand – Women’s One-Day International – Thursday 23 September; 1pm start
England will be aiming to continue their fine form in Derby when they face New Zealand at The Incora County Ground in September.
Derbyshire Members do not need to claim a ticket for this fixture. Tickets for family and friends can be purchased online HERE.
Guest Passes cannot be used for the England vs New Zealand fixture.
The way we are required to operate on a matchday will be different from your last time with us and, as suggested, it will also likely change throughout the summer, dependant on the government guidelines at the time.
The most up-to-date processes will be made available on our Matchday Guides ahead of each fixture. These will be emailed to Members and can also be viewed online.
For all accessibility requirements, please contact us on 01332 388 101 (Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm) or email [email protected].
We appreciate there is much uncertainty at the moment, so have included our Membership Guarantee for all 2021 Membership renewals and purchases.
Should the season be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, Members will remain our priority for entry throughout the season. If coronavirus restrictions remain in place and matches take place behind closed doors, Members will have a number of options open to them, including donate, defer or refund, dependant on the circumstances.
The health and safety of all visitors remains our first priority. Ahead of 2021 season, we will provide updates on health and safety measures via our website and email.
Cashless & Reducing Paper Waste
From the start of the 2021 season, Derbyshire will operate a cashless policy across all Club-managed points of sale on site – from ticket gates, to catering.
There are two reasons for this, the first being a proven increase in the speed of service when accepting card payments only and the second being hygiene as part of our commitment to keeping spectators and staff safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
All of our catering and bar tills will accept all major debit/credit cards, as well as contactless payment options, including Apple and Android Pay.
The Club will also be continuing its aim to reduce paper waste in 2021 and as such will not be printing matchday scorecards, the appetite for which has lessened in recent seasons due to improved online Match Centres across the game.
Supporters can download a blank scorecard template via the Matchday Guide page.
If you would like to know more about your 2021 Membership, or have any other queries for us, please don’t hesitate to call the Club on 01332 388 101 or email [email protected].
We aim to respond to all email queries within 72 hours, but please note that our phone lines can get very busy and we ask that all non-urgent enquiries are emailed to [email protected].
