Here’s all of the information you need about 2021 Membership in one place.
This page will be updated throughout the season to reflect the most up-to-date FAQs based on the latest government guidelines.
For more information, email [email protected].
Subject to government guidance and restrictions, we expect to be able to welcome spectators back into The Incora County Ground for our LV=County Championship fixture against Durham, starting on Thursday 20 May. With capacity restrictions in place, and rising Membership numbers, we have decided to make this fixture exclusive to Members and Members will have priority access to all our fixtures during the 2021 season.
We can’t wait to welcome you back this summer, but in the interest of safety for all Members and supporters, there will be some changes to your usual matchday experience, and we kindly ask all spectators to work with us to make cricket’s return an enjoyable experience for all. It is also likely that there will be changes to our Matchday protocols and procedures from match-to-match as the season progresses.
As a Derbyshire Member you are at the front of the queue for all formats of cricket and as ever, everyone at the Club would like to thank you for your support.
Please take the time to read the below information, which includes important details regarding your Membership.
Fixtures & Formats
Derbyshire are set to return to all formats of cricket in 2021, with traditional first-class matches played throughout the summer, while List A action and the explosive Vitality Blast competition come in blocks.
The format of the LV= County Championship has changed for 2021, with counties being placed into three seeded groups base on 2019 and 2020 placings, with each county set to play ten matches at this stage – 5 at home and 5 away. Based on their group position, counties will then move into three divisions to play the final four matches and compete for the Bob Willis Trophy final in September.
Further details, as well as a diagram showing the structure, can be found via the link below.

Vitality Blast Booking
As a Derbyshire Member, you do not need to reserve a ticket, or tell us you’re coming to any LV= County Championship or Royal London Cup matches, (subject to change based on government guidance).
However, booking your Members’ ticket will be essential for all Vitality Blast fixtures in 2021.
As you will no doubt be aware, through attending our Vitality Blast fixtures or discussing the format on our monthly Members’ Forums with the Supervisory Board, the Twenty20 competition is pivotal in the Club’s finances each year and maximising attendances helps us reinvest in our cricket budget. We want to make the competition safe, enjoyable and as widely accessible as possible. If you are unable to attend, please do not claim a ticket as this could be re-allocated to another supporter.
Similarly, we ask that if you do book your ticket and subsequently can no longer attend, please let the club know via [email protected] or by calling 01332 388 101 so that we can make your ticket available to another supporter.
While booking your Members’ tickets, you will also be able to purchase additional tickets for fellow supporters within your household/social bubble. Current restrictions dictate that we can only sell tickets within households or social bubbles, with a maximum of six tickets per booking.
Claim your Members’ Tickets
Watch our ‘How To’ video below for a walkthrough of how to claim your Members’ Tickets for this summer’s Vitality Blast.
Claiming your Members’ Ticket: Birmingham Bears (13 June), Lancashire Lightning (15 June) and Northants Steelbacks (17 June)
As the above three fixtures take place after 17 May, but before the government’s proposed 21 June lifting of further restrictions on capacities, we are required to operate with social distancing and reduced capacities in place.
On that basis, Members must claim their ticket for each fixture online at derbyshireccc.com, or over the phone on 01332 388 101. These are available now and the deadline for guaranteeing your ticket is 5pm on Monday 17th May. After that date, Members cannot be guaranteed a ticket.
Claiming your Members’ Ticket: Leicestershire Foxes (22 June), Notts Outlaws (25 June) and Worcestershire Rapids (2 July)
These fixtures, as they come after the proposed lifting of the majority of restrictions on venue capacities, are on general sale to the public with no socially distant seating in place.
However, Members are not required to claim a ticket at this stage.
This is because if restrictions are not lifted as expected, the Club will revert to operating the same policy as for the Birmingham, Lancashire and Northants fixtures, whereby Members will receive first priority in the event of a reduced capacity and there will be an appropriate exclusivity window to claim tickets. Afterwards, all remaining tickets will be rolled-out to ticket-buyers as per the Club’s priority ticket policy.
The necessary dates for claiming a ticket, whether for General Admission, or reserved social distant seating, will be communicated via the Members’ Hub.
Claiming your Members’ Ticket: Yorkshire Vikings (18 July, Queen’s Park, Chesterfield)
Following the successful implementation of the £10 Members’ Refundable Deposit in 2019, the Club will once again require all Members who wish to attend the Vitality Blast fixture against Yorkshire to claim a ticket with a £10 deposit.
These are available now and the deadline for guaranteeing your ticket is 5pm on Monday 14th June. After that date, Members cannot be guaranteed a ticket.
The details of the above policies may change throughout the season. Exact numbers of tickets available to purchase will be based on the available capacity and the necessary bubble / distancing restrictions in place. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to Members via email/post.
The way we are required to operate on a matchday will be different from your last time with us and, as suggested, it will also likely change throughout the summer, dependant on the government guidelines at the time.
The most up-to-date processes will be made available on our Matchday Guides ahead of each fixture. These will be emailed to Members and posted on the Club website.
The areas we are able to confirm at this early stage are;
– All spectators will have their temperature checked on arrival.
– All spectators will be required to wear a face covering (unless medically exempt) throughout their visit, except for when eating or drinking.
– All spectators will be required to remain in their seat throughout the day’s play, except for when using toilets or making use of the catering facilities.
A Spectator Code of Conduct will be introduced to ensure all supporters are able to enjoy the best-possible experience and we ask all visitors to not travel to our venues if they are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.
Due to the numbers in each Membership category and current government guidance, for LV= County Championship matches the Greene King IPA Marquee will become a Members’ facility, with outdoor seating available, as well as indoor shelter in the event of bad weather (capacity to be monitored in line with government guidelines) and the top floor of the Incora Pavilion will be open for Executive Members only.
We hope that as restrictions ease this may change during the summer and we are able to revert to a more normal matchday structure. The Club will trial the opening of the bar in the Marquee based on demand.
A limited catering offering, adhering to the latest government guidelines, will be available during your visit, but you can bring your own food and refreshments to LV=County Championship matches where possible.
The latest information will be provided in Matchday Guides ahead of each fixture.
For all accessibility requirements, please contact us on 01332 388 101 (Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm) or email [email protected].
We appreciate there is much uncertainty at the moment, so have included our Membership Guarantee for all 2021 Membership renewals and purchases.
Should the season be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, Members will remain our priority for entry throughout the season. If coronavirus restrictions remain in place and matches take place behind closed doors, Members will have a number of options open to them, including donate, defer or refund, dependant on the circumstances.
The health and safety of all visitors remains our first priority. Ahead of 2021 season, we will provide updates on health and safety measures via our website and email.
Membership remains the best value way to follow Derbyshire in the 2021 season, with priority access to all home cricket, as well as a host of other great benefits.
Membership packs will be sent out throughout April, ahead of the proposed return of Members in May.
These will contain the latest information safety information, your Membership Card(s), Car Park passes (where applicable), as well as Members’ pin badge and lanyard.
If you would like to know more about your 2021 Membership, or have any other queries for us, please don’t hesitate to call the Club on 01332 388 101 or email [email protected].
We aim to respond to all email queries within 48 hours, but please note that our phone lines can get very busy. We would advise emailing you message in if you cannot get through over the phone.
Please do not try to contact the club by coming to The Incora County Ground. The club offices and the Ticket Office are currently closed.
