Hari (MBA FCMA ACIB C.Dir) is an experienced Chief Finance Officer / Finance Director. His background is in corporate finance, company turnarounds, restructures and mergers & acquisitions.
Hari attended the Harvard Business School in USA to follow a Leadership and Management programme and qualified as a Chartered Director in UK.
He is currently the CFO of a large Children’s Charity in London. His former roles include Finance Director / Company Secretary of a Daimler Benz Group Company in UK and Deputy Chief Executive of the University of Derby responsible for Finance, Property, IT, HR and all Commercial Subsidiaries.
Prior to that, Hari worked in Merchant Banking and Financial services.
In addition Hari is an experienced Non-Executive Director and was the chair of NEUPC, served as a board member on East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Futures Housing Group, UMAL insurance and West Notts College. He also chaired the University Invest to Grow panel which awarded grant and loan funding to SMEs for development and job creation. He was also a member of the Investment Committee of the Midlands Engine.
Currently he is a board member and chair the Audit and Risk Committee of the Legal Ombudsman under the Ministry of Justice.
