Club Captain Wayne Madsen will join a host of former Derbyshire players at the Heritage Lunch on Sunday 15 November at The 3aaa County Ground.
Madsen will join legendary fast bowler Harold Rhodes, off-spinner Edwin Smith, ex-England batsman Chris Adams and long-serving Derbyshire batsman Tony Borrington.
Since scoring 170 not out on his Derbyshire debut in 2009, Madsen has become a permanent fixture in the middle order and recently passed 10,000 runs across all formats for the Club.
Madsen was made Captain in 2012 and led Derbyshire to the LV= County Championship Division One in his first season as skipper.
The lunch will celebrate the Proud to be Derbyshire Heritage Project, funded thanks to a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, and a selection of photographs and items collated as part of the project will be on display.
Tickets are still available for this unique event and are priced at £30 per person, with all proceeds going to the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation (Registered Charity No: 1155801).
Guests will be treated to a delicious two-course Sunday Lunch at the event which will take place in the 3aaa Pavilion.
