Luis Reece discusses his ambitions, The Early Bird window for 2020 Membership is open, while tickets remain on sale for the biggest fireworks display in Derby.

Reece targets silverware with Derbyshire

Luis Reece wants to push on challenge for titles with Derbyshire after signing a new long-term deal with the club.

Reece enjoyed his best season with Derbyshire in 2019, playing a key role for the side with the bat and ball across all formats.

The all-rounder, who will remain at The Pattonair County Ground until the end of the 2023 season, says that the squad are determined to build on the foundations laid this year for future success.

“The main aim is to help us move forward as a club, and help to bring success to Derbyshire,” Reece said.

“In any format, it’s about winning trophies, and I think we can all agree that it has been too long since Derbyshire won a competition.

“Going forward, we want competition for places to further improve ourselves and to try to bring silverware back to this club, which it deserves. You can’t just expect it to happen, we have to make it happen.”
