Billy Godleman and Leus du Plooy put on 125 runs to help Derbyshire to a seven-wicket victory at The Fischer County Ground in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
The Derbyshire captain struck 106, while du Plooy (73 not out) and Wayne Madsen (60) hit half-centuries as the visitors chased down the revised target of 266 in 39 overs.
Leicestershire had made 312-8 in their innings, with Colin Ackermann 119 the top-score for the Foxes, while Alex Hughes (2-55) and Luis Reece (2-59) were the pick of the Derbyshire bowlers.
